How Global Sections Work

0:01 In this video, I can explain how global sections work and how you can use them to edit and update multiple pages of your funnel at once while only making an edit to one page. 0:12 So let's dive in and show you exactly how to do that. So um, you have all the pages of the funnel here and to edit a single page, just gonna click edit here and it's gonna open you open up to the page editor. 0:23 Now all these pages, they are organized in terms of hierarchies and the hierarchy goes section. So a section is green, and then if you go in here, you have your rows, which are blue, and then you have columns, which are light purple, and then inside the columns, you have actual elements, which are the 0:43 elements of your page. So if you click the plus, if you click this plus sign here, you can go to sections so you can add a section here That's going to show up green and then it's going to prompt you to add a row and rows you can have multiple columns and then inside that row You can see you have the 0:59 column section and then inside that you have the actual element section and so that's that makes up like the The structure of the actual web page. 1:08 You don't need to worry about creating things from scratch so because we already started you off with this nice template. 1:13 And in this video, I'm going to show you how global sections work. So you can see here, this section is green. 1:19 But then if you scroll down here, you can see this section is purple. So we haven't seen this color before, and that's because it's a global section. 1:26 So it's still the same hierarchy, except global sections, what makes them different from these, what makes the purple different from the green, is that when you update a global section, it's gonna update on other pages as well. 1:40 And the benefit of this is you have lots of pages in this funnel where we wanted to display the same information. 1:46 So whether someone goes to a Google ads thank you page or a meta ads thank you page, we wanna show both of those people information on your business, we wanna show them information about your injector, we wanna show them your reviews, your location as well. 2:02 And if you didn't have this, you'd have to update duplicate information on each page. So let's just explain quickly how this works. 2:08 Let's say that I update this image here, I'm going to update this image to this here, and then I'm going to hit save. 2:16 It's going to say you've made changes to global section which can affect other pages that you want to save, and you're going to hit save. 2:23 So what this is going to do is any other page that has the same global section, it's going to be updated to this image. 2:32 So You can see that it was updated on this page as well. What you can also do is you can just decide to totally delete this section on this page. 2:42 You can hit save. And let's wait for it to save here. And then we go to this page. It's still actually going to be on this page. 2:52 Because we deleted on this page, but it still exists on this page. If we want to add it back in, we can go down here to the glads. 3:00 Thank you. And then we can just add it in and the way you do that is you go to here and then you're going to hit this plus we're going to go to global sections and then drag in the global section. 3:10 And that one is called the Y come to us section so you can drag it right back in there and there it's going to be right back in your account. 3:18 So that's how the global sections works with these funnels and in the subsequent videos are going to show you how to actually edit these different parts here. 3:26 So there's the YA section, the map is actually already updated for your clinic, but you can update that as well. 3:32 I'm going to show you how to add reviews, and then also how to add results in case studies.
