Pillar 4: Testimonial Content

Last updated today

Purpose: Provide social proof. Let patients tell your story.

Psychology: Encouraging and highlighting positive customer reviews and testimonials remains essential for building trust and credibility with potential clients.

What This Looks Like:

  • Patient speaking about their experience
  • Emotional reactions to results
  • Journey stories (problem to solution to result)
  • Authentic, unscripted praise
  • Real people, real stories

Time to Create: 5-10 minutes
Difficulty: ⭐⭐ Moderate - requires patient willingness
Best For: Conversion, trust-building, overcoming objections

Setting Up a Testimonial System

Example prompts for patients:

  • “What’s your favorite part about coming to our spa?”
  • “How has [treatment] changed your confidence?”
  • “What would you tell someone considering this treatment?”
  • “What surprised you most about your experience?”

Step 1: Create Incentive Signs

Testimonial System Implementation

“LOVE YOUR RESULTS?

Share your story on video and receive:

  1. $50 spa credit, OR
  • Complimentary facial add-on

Ask your provider how to participate!”

Place signs in:

  • Treatment rooms
  • Checkout area
  • Waiting room
  • Bathroom mirrors

Provider Script for Testimonials

“Hey [Patient Name], I’m so thrilled with your results! We’ve just started collecting video testimonials, and I would love to feature you. It takes about 2 minutes, and you’ll get a $50 credit. Would you be interested?”

Simple Prompts:

  • “What made you choose our spa?”
  • “How has [treatment] changed your confidence?”
  • “What surprised you most about your experience?”
  • “What would you tell someone considering this?”

Critical Note: Unlike other pillars captured during “content week,” testimonials build gradually over time. Make this part of your everyday patient experience.
