Before finalizing any video, ask:

  1. Would I stop scrolling for this?
  2. Does this feel like my friend talking to me or like an ad?
  3. Is the first 3 seconds compelling?
  4. Can I understand it without sound?
  5. Do I know exactly what to do next?
  6. Does this represent my brand well?
  7. Am I overthinking this?

If you answered “no” to 1-6 or “yes” to 7, adjust accordingly.
