Warmup Process (CRITICAL)

What Is Domain Warmup?

Think of domain warmup like building credit history. A new domain has zero reputation. Email providers treat it with suspicion until it proves trustworthy.

Manual Warmup:

  • Send 200 emails to your own team members
  • They all open and engage with the emails
  • Google sees: “200/200 recipients engaged—this looks legitimate”
  • Your domain reputation increases

Automated Warmup (What We Use):

We use Warmup Inbox, a professional tool that:

  1. Sends emails from your subdomain to verified inboxes
  2. These inboxes automatically open and engage
  3. Creates positive engagement signals
  4. Gradually increases sending volume
  5. Targets specific ESPs (Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, etc.)

Request Warmup Setup: Fill out our Email Request Form and our team will configure your subdomain and begin the warmup process. Important: Do this 15 days before launching any major email campaigns. This will give us sufficient time to warm up the domain.

Email Template Warmup

Beyond warming up your subdomain, you can warm up specific email content.

How It Works:

  1. Provide your campaign template to our team
  2. We create a warmup version
  3. Warmup Inbox sends your actual template design to verified inboxes
  4. Google/Outlook sees this specific content getting positive engagement
  5. When you send the real campaign, the content is “pre-approved”

When To Use:

  • High-stakes campaigns (Black Friday, major promotions)
  • New email designs (first time using specific layout)
  • Long-form newsletters (more content = more scrutiny)
