Understanding Email Sending

Why Do Your Emails Land in Spam?
Many people assume they can use any email address (like info@yourclinic.com) to send bulk campaigns. This is incorrect and will land you in spam while putting the reputation of your main domain at risk. Even if you try to send the email in a direct conversation, it’ll still go to spam.
Email sending relies on domain reputation, not individual email addresses. Here’s what matters:
Domain Types
- Primary Domain: foreverbooked.com or yourclinic.com
- Subdomain: support.foreverbooked.com or clinic.medicalspalink.com
Why We Use Subdomains
We provide clients with dedicated subdomains like [yourclinicname].medicalspalink.com
This protects your primary business domain. If the subdomain’s reputation is damaged, your main business email remains safe.
Email Service Provider Detection
When you send an email, it goes through multiple checks:
- DNS Record Validation: SPF, DKIM, and MX records must be properly configured. (Our team takes care of this, so you don’t need to worry about these technical terms.)
- Sender Domain Verification: Is this domain authorized to send?
- Reputation Check: What’s the sending history of this domain?
- Content Analysis: Does the content look like spam?
- Engagement Tracking: Do recipients open and engage with emails from this domain?
Gmail Categories You’ve Seen
- Primary: Trusted, personal communications
- Promotions: Marketing emails (even legitimate ones)
- Social: Social media notifications (Meta, etc.)
- Spam: Suspected junk or harmful content
Your goal is to land in Primary, or at a minimum Promotions, but never Spam.
