Step 1: Configure Stripe Payment Gateway

We strongly encourage you to use Stripe to accept payments as it seamlessly integrates with our system while making purchasing a membership extremely simple for customers.

  1. Create a Stripe account if you don’t already have one by visiting Stripe (Stripe is the only processor we support at this time).
  2. Integrate Your Stripe account with your GHL account.

Step 2: Request Your Membership System

Complete The 📄Membership System Request Form to request your membership system buildout.

IMPORTANT: In the form you’ll be asked to decide which type of membership you’d like to request. Please see below for a description of each type of membership.

Skin Treatment Membership

  1. Choose ONE treatment that you believe all of your clients should be getting regularly. This treatment will be the core service offered in your membership.
  2. You should offer this treatment for 25-50% off as part of the membership. The treatment should be performed every 1-3 months. Clients will pay monthly to get this treatment regularly.
  3. For example, clients pay $100/m for a $400 value Broadband Light treatment every 3 months. They will get a $400 treatment for $300 (25% OFF).
  4. As a bonus for signing up for the program, you give the client $100-$600 of free products or services. You deliver these bonuses as part of a membership activation visit with a full consultation.

Botox Membership

  1. Charge clients $100/m. This money accumulates to pay for 30 units of Neurotoxin at $10/unit every three months. (Reg price is $13-$15/unit.)
  2. Every 3 months your client comes in to get their 30 units of Botox. You can charge for additional units at the discounted rate of $10/unit.
  3. To make the offer more compelling, you can offer a low-cost skin treatment every time they come in for Botox, such as an express facial or dermaplaning.
  4. As a bonus for signing up for the program, you give the client $100-$600 of free products or services. You deliver these bonuses as part of a membership activation visit with a full consultation.

This process utilizes the Stripe integration you set up in Step 1. This will connect your membership funnel to Stripe so people can start to make purchases with their credit card.

Video 1: How To Set Up Your Membership 0:01 Okay, in this video, I'm going to overview the process for setting up your membership system. So, we've tried to make this as simple as possible, we've broken it down into 5 steps here. 0:11 So we have more in-depth tutorials for each step, but in this video, I'm just gonna walk through everything from a bird's eye to you so you know exactly how it's gonna work. 0:18 So, the first step is to configure your stripe payment gateway. You can use, you can potentially use other integrations, but I'd highly, highly recommend using Stripe because it's extremely user friendly, it's very easy to set up. 0:30 It integrates the best with our system and you're just going to have the least headache if you use Stripe. So I highly recommend using Stripe. 0:36 If you use another payment gateway, you're going to have to message us in support to see if we support it, but highly highly recommend using Stripe, it's just going to be the easiest way to set this thing up. 0:44 So I have a video on how to do it here, very simple. If you don't have an account, you just create one, it takes a couple of minutes. 0:51 You just connect it with your bank account and you're ready to go. and then you're going to integrate it with a Stripe account with your Go High Level account or Fever Book software, which this video will show you how to do it. 1:00 The next step is to request your membership system. It's going to take a bit more thought because you need to determine which sort of membership you want to offer. 1:09 And before even going through this, I would make sure you go through the membership system overview. It really communicates our entire strategy of memberships and why we do the offers the way we do and how we structure it. 1:21 So it's good to have an idea of like this strategy as a whole and then once you've watched that you can go in and decide which membership you want to offer. 1:29 So right now we have two memberships. We have a skin treatment membership and a Botox membership. We keep it very simple. 1:35 One of the biggest mistakes I see with clinics is they have memberships with 16 tiers and like all these different offers and modifications and it's confusing that confusing that confusion transfers to their staff which makes it that and then it transfers to the clients and a confused client doesn't 1:50 buy. So, especially when you're starting out, you want to start out with a super simple membership, and I'd recommend the skin treatment membership. 1:57 So, the idea behind this membership is you're going to choose one treatment that you believe that all your clients should be getting on a regular basis. 2:04 Usually in a clinic, you have this sort of workhorse treatment that is like, it's great and you believe that everyone should be getting it, and if everyone just got that treatment every two months or every quarter, they would have a great foundation to getting amazing skin over the long term. 2:18 So, for example, in my dad's clinic, he uses broadband light or BBL. That treatment is an amazing treatment. It's a workhorse. 2:25 He has two BBL machines going all the time in his office. They're always on because he used it for his membership program. 2:32 You're next gonna offer 25 to 50% off this treatment as part of the membership. So the way it works is clients are gonna pay on a monthly basis and those monthly treatments are going to add up to give them credits to buy their treatment every one to three months. 2:47 So, for example, you want to get BBL generally every three months. So the way my dad's membership works is clients pay $100 every month. 2:56 And every three months, they get a $400 value treatment. And they pay with that with their $300 of credit, which was built up, which gives them 25% off. 3:04 So you want to do 25 as a minimum. But the ideas of clients pay monthly for a treatment that they get on a regular basis. 3:11 Now, some people like to do the beauty bank. We don't have a beauty bank membership because on just from like all my, we may have one in the future, but it's much better to use this one. 3:22 What we found is that with beauty banks, people can rack up a bunch of credit and they never end up using it and you have this huge accounts receivable in your clinic. 3:29 So I highly recommend this one because it gets people coming in on a set schedule whether it's every one month, every two months or every three months. 3:36 And then to make it very easy and compelling to get someone signed up for the program you're going to give this an amazing free gift upon joining. 3:45 So the thing about a membership is it's really about long-term results and it's about delaying your gratification but you get someone into it by appealing to their immediate gratification. 3:55 And you do that by offering this really valuable gift which I will chat about here in a sec. So you want to give 100 to $600 value gift upon joining as like it's sort of like an ethical bribe to get someone to join your membership. 4:09 So the Botox membership is similar. They pay $100 a month and that accumulates every three months to 30 units of toxin that they can buy at 10 units. 4:19 So yeah, they pretty much pay 10 units, $10 per unit, and they come in every three months and get 30 units or more if they need it. 4:29 And then every three months, you can also let them buy more Botox at a discounted rate. And then, this is optional, but I highly recommend it. 4:38 You can throw in a low cost skin treatment every time they come in for their Botox. So maybe you offer a different planing or an express facial, and that just adds value to the membership while also getting them to see your esthetician. 4:51 So your esthetician has a chance to sell them more things and skin care and such when they come in. So that's a really good one, adds more value. 4:57 And then you can also add the super amazing sign up bonus to this one is what you can give them a hundred to six hundred dollar value gift. 5:04 So, let's use this one as an example, the skin treatment. We're going to open this up in a new tab, and so you can review this sales page to see what it looks like. 5:15 But basically, this is like a template that you're going to use. So, in the next, in one of our videos, we're going to show you how to go through and update this template. 5:24 But basically, the headline is going to say, get 25% off our best skin treatment, which would be BBL in my dad's case, plus get $500 worth of bonuses for free. 5:33 So the key is to have a super sexy headline because you're going to have this in your clinic And it's going to start conversations people are going to say, oh, how can I do that right? 5:41 And so that takes the load off you having to constantly talk about the membership because it's such Amazing cool offer that people are going to bring it up to you So what you want to do is just decide which membership you want to offer again I'd always recommend starting off with the skin treatment and 5:56 then what you're going to do is open up this Membership system request forum you're going to fill out your business name You're going to select your membership type right now. 6:03 We have the skin treatment of the Botox and you're going to hit submit request. And once you do that, our team is going to get to work. 6:12 We're going to take about one to two business days to customize, not customize, but set up all the backend systems, so all the automations, all the fancy things that you don't want to do in the background, all the tech stuff. 6:25 We're going to set that up and in one to two business days, We'll send you an email letting you know that your membership funnel is ready to be customized by you Once it's ready to be customized you can open up this tutorial and This is a longer video. 6:38 It's going to take some time to do this But you all need to customize your funnel once Video what I do is I walk through the whole process of going through and editing that sales page to fit your clinic And the reason you want to have a sales page is because because you're essentially taking your best 6:54 salesperson on their best day and you're multiplying that person and getting them to work for you. So having the sales page, all we need to do is send people to the page and the page does the work for you. 7:04 This is the key to automatically and consistently building your membership program is to have a page that sells it for you. 7:11 You know, a lot of people just have, you know, a table 10 that says here's what you get, but this page goes much deeper in the psychology of why people should join a membership program and it's gonna help you a lot. 7:21 So take the time, it's going to take probably half an hour to an hour to customize this, but you only have to do it once for your offer. 7:29 So make sure you take the time to do this, and if you have any trouble, you can hop on one of our support calls and we'll help you with it. 7:36 Step 4 is to add a product to your funnel. So this part is probably the most, it's probably the most in-depth technical part, but it's still very, very easy. 7:46 So this video, once you open it up the loads here, it's going to walk you through how to connect the It's going to show you how to create a product and stripe and connect it to your software and the product is going to be $100 a month membership So you need to go through that video complete the steps 8:04 if you have any trouble whatsoever Just let our team know, but that's step four to add the product and then the fifth and final step is to submit your funnel for testing and review. 8:13 So once you've added all your information, you like how the membership looks. Okay, there's that video. What you're gonna do is you're gonna open up this form and you're gonna submit this form. 8:24 So you're gonna enter your business name. You're gonna check off these boxes because you should only submit this form once you've gone through all these steps. 8:32 But if you've had any trouble during the steps, you can write it down here. So let's say that you had trouble integrating your Stripe account or customizing your funnel. 8:40 I don't want you to let that hold up the entire thing and be a bottleneck. So just get as far as you can write down any issues that you had and you can write it down here. 8:49 That way, the funnel will be submitted to us and we'll know where the bottlenecks were and we can help you set that up. 8:55 And this part's really important because our team is going to go in again. We're going to test the membership. We're going to make test purchases. 9:01 We're going to make sure all the emails are being sent out. We're going to make sure that the membership is actually working properly. 9:06 And you want us to do this step because we're the one who created the system, right? So you don't want you to have to go through and test everything when you're not the one who created the system So we're going to do the quality control and make sure it works really well for you And that is the setup 9:21 . Video 2: Configure Stripe Payment Gateway 0:00 Hey there team, my gallery of aesthetics is great in here and so I want to make this quick video to show you how to do the integrations So you're going to log into your software, you're going to go to, you're going to go to settings here And then in settings you're going to go to integrations, and then 0:13 you're going to click strike, and then you're going to connect your strike account and then it may, may prompt you to create an account if you don't have one But it's very easy to create, you can just create this account and that's how we can start taking deposits for this campaign So, that's how you 0:26 do it, and let me know if you have any questions Video 3:Customize You Membership Funnel 00:01 Alright, in this video I'm gonna review and walk through step three of the membership setup which is to customize your membership funnel So if you follow step one and two of the setting up your membership you're going to request the membership using the membership request forum and you're gonna give 00:16 our team one to two business days to set up all the backend systems for your membership So once that's done we're gonna send you an email letting you know your membership is ready to be customized and at that point you're gonna follow the instructions in this video to customize your membership So the 00:31 first step is to log into your software, and on the sidebar here you're going to click Sites, and then under Sites, you're going to make sure you're selected on Funnels, and then you're going to find your membership funnel here. 00:42 So it's going to say Membership, Dash, whatever sort of type of membership you're requested. In this case, it's going to be a skin treatment. 00:50 So you're going to click here, and then the Membership funnel is divided into four pages. There's the Option page, the sales page, the order page, and the confirmation page. 00:58 And as part of the setup, we're going to set you up with your own URL. So in this case, it says test, but in your case, it's going to say your clinic name. 01:05 If it's a really long clinic will short, clinic name will shorten it down a bit, but you can actually open up this in a new tab and see what the opt-in page looks like here. 01:15 And in this video, I'm just going to walk you through how to customize all four of these pages. So it's going to be a longer video. 01:20 This is a bit of a process to do, but once you've done it, it's set up forever, and this is going to become a really valuable asset to you. 01:27 It's going to sell your membership essentially while you sleep and do a lot of the heavy lifting of Communicating the value of the membership. 01:34 So the first page you want to edit is the sales page This is like the the the meat of the whole funnel This is where all the persuasion is happening and is where we're going to convince people why they should sign up for your membership So wait, let me just back up here for a sec This opt-in page just 01:51 to show you how it works is you're gonna direct all your traffic to this page So as part of the system you're going to create flyers and clinic with the QR code and that QR code is going to lead to this page and people are going to go to this page, they're going to fill it this form to request access 02:07 and get information on this membership. And the reason why you want to lead them to this page and not just straight to the sales page is you want to collect an opt-in first. 02:15 You want to collect their information so you can follow up on them and make sure that they actually buy the membership if they go straight to this page there's no way to collect their information. 02:24 So, once you get to this page, we're going to click Edit, and this is going to open up the page editor. 02:30 Now, this editor may seem intimidating at first, but it's actually very straightforward, very intuitive. And all you need to do is just follow my exact instructions in this video to edit it to your clinic. 02:41 So, at the top here, you can see it says Broken Image, but when you go on here, you should be able to see your clinic logo. 02:47 We automatically import your logo here to make sure it's at the top. So the sub headline is going to say from the desk of your name. 02:55 So you want to put like the owner name of the clinic. So for example, like just in my dad's clinic, his name is Doc Peter or so. 03:01 So put that Peter or so. What not, Dr. Peter or so Peter, the opposite. So it starts off with this big sexy headline. 03:09 And you want to really lead with people's their appeal to instant gratification, right? A membership is about long-term results, but you get them into the membership it by appealing to their instant gratification. 03:21 So for this specific offer, we're going to put 25% off our best skin treatment and get, we're gonna get $450 worth of bonuses for free. 03:31 Now, don't worry about that, what that means. I'm gonna walk you through and show you exactly, you know, which numbers to put here when you actually create your offer. 03:40 So I'm just gonna walk you through the actual copy. So it says we're offering this crazy deal for two reasons. 03:44 First, we want to reward our loyal clients by giving them an incredible offer, not available anywhere else and second we want to introduce you to an exciting new skiing care program that our top clients use to get their best skin ever while looking younger every day. 03:58 So that's the hook that gets them to start reading and then we're going to start to explain how this is really the thesis of the whole offer. 04:06 The world of aesthetics is confusing, it's misleading, there's so many creams, goops machines available, they're all promised to make you look younger and that's what's going through the minds of your clients, right? 04:17 They're so confused, there's so many things out there that are promised to make them look better, but they don't know who to trust. 04:24 So it then says, I started this clinic to help regular folks like us figure out what actually works to get longer, younger looking skin. 04:30 We spent hours researching, attending conferences, and testing the best treatments of products. As a result, we discovered what really works to make people look and feel great without worrying about looking fake, wasting money, or dealing with lengthy downtime. 04:43 So I did my best to make this applicable to most business owners. you know, if you haven't actually attended any conferences, you of course don't want to lie, but you can also add any other, you know, things that are unique to you that give you more experience and make you uniquely qualified to recommend 04:58 what people should do in a membership program. And then says, if we could only do one treatment, this would be it. 05:04 So we've invested lots of time into figuring out what really works, and of all the treatments we tried, one above of Sands above the rest. 05:12 And this is where you're gonna put the main treatment name. So if you watch the video that walks through the membership program, the whole membership program is based around one treatment that you believe all your clients should be getting on a regular basis. 05:26 And that treatment is what you're gonna put right here. So just for this example, we're gonna put broadband light because this is just the treatment that my dad uses in his clinic or BBL or BBL for short. 05:41 So you're just gonna put whatever treatment that you're gonna offer as part of this system that you're in here in here. 05:47 So you're gonna fill that out. And here's why, the bread and butter of aesthetic treatments, right? Well, that's just how we're framing the treatment. 05:53 So now you're gonna put the treatment name again. You can actually just put, we'll put BBL. Has all three of the magic trio benefits that make up the perfect treatment. 06:03 Safe for most skin types is virtually painless and it delivers short and long-term results. Your treatment may have slightly different benefits, but by and large, the treatment that you want to offer for your membership, it shouldn't be like a crazy, intense, super deep peel. 06:18 It shouldn't be any treatment that isn't applicable to a lot of people. The idea is that you're just, you're finding this one treatment that's going to serve as the basis for all other aesthetic treatments, right? 06:29 A treatment that justifies someone coming in every three months to get. And these are generally the criteria that you want to choose, right? 06:35 Everyone wants safe treatments, they want painless treatments, no downtime, and they want treatments that deliver instant and long-term results. Then it says that we can adjust the settings to address these specific concerns. 06:47 You're welcome to fill in any concerns that your treatment addresses, but generally these are what we want to fix, right? 06:54 Acne hyperpigmentation, fine lines and wrinkles and skin dullness. The next thing you're going to do is you're going to add in some before and after. 07:02 Now this is a very, very important part of editing your page because you just said this is your best treatment. 07:08 You want to back it up with real results that you have in your clinic. So ideally, you're going to put real before and after photos of people using your treatment. 07:17 If you don't have those photos, you can definitely use photos from your supplier, from your start trying to get before and after photos, you can put your actual results in here. 07:31 This is what's really gonna solve the membership program when people see these before and after photos. So I put three in here, but you can add more. 07:38 There's even this little duplication button that you can duplicate and add more images. So what you do is you click here, and then on the right-hand side here, it's gonna say image options, and then you can click here, and then you can go to new, and then upload files from your computer to fill out the 07:52 before and after section. So that's what you're gonna do in that section. Let's move on here. So it says our big problem is that we want more people who experience this treatment and it's amazing benefits. 08:02 You have hundreds of patients who have benefit, but this is a fraction of people that could benefit which brings me back to the reason for writing this letter. 08:10 We have a new program that's focused on regular treatment with BBL. We're fully convinced this is the foundational skin treatment all other aesthetic treatments should be built upon. 08:22 It's called the program name program. And then maybe you want to throw in like a free M sculpts. 11:34 This will be a hundred dollar value. So this really up to you how many bonuses you want to add in here. 11:39 The idea is to create a super amazing compelling gift and those bonuses should benefit you as well, right? Because someone comes in for an MScult trial, they may convert to an MScult package as well. 11:50 So it's a women's situation. You're adding value to this package while also creating more other sales opportunities. Video 4: Add A Product To Your Funnel 0:00 In this video, I'm going to show you how to add a product to your membership funnel, that's integrated with stripes You can start actually selling your membership through this system So at this point you customize your membership funnel You have stripe integrated and we're ready to actually create a 0:14 product to put in the funnel So what we're going to do is we're going to go to the order page because this is where the product is going to be located because this is where people are going to actually make the purchase of that product So if you go to products here on the right and click add product 0:28 We're going to go here and since we don't have any product products in the system yet, we're going to click here, and it's going to take us to the payments integration page where we can actually create a product. 0:37 So we're going to click that button here, and this is all integrated with Stripe. So this is going to be creating a product in your Stripe account. 0:44 What you want to do is you want to toggle off this online store because we don't need it in an online store. 0:48 You're just going to name the product, the name of your membership program. So in this case, the Forever Young program, you can leave the description as is because it's not going to be displayed inside the sales page. 0:58 You can leave the media. you can leave all this blank as well. It's up to you if you want to collect tax through Stripe. 1:05 Some people do, but some people just rather collect tax internally. It's all up to you on that.
