How To Transfer an Existing Phone Number To Your Account

Notify our team that you would like transfer an existing phone number from a separate account.

Our team will provide you with a gaining account SID.

Send the instructions below to the agency account holder. Make sure to add the gaining SID we provide to the message, and the phone number you would like transferred.

If you are the agency account holder, complete the instructions found in the message.

NOTE*

If the existing account uses LC Phone system, the agency provider will send back a losing account SID. Send this to us along with the phone number you would like to transfer and we will complete the process.

Hi there, I would like to transfer my phone line to a new account. Can you please follow the instructions below to complete the transfer.

Determine if the phone line is managed by LC Phone or Twilio. Go to Agency Settings → Phone Integration → Sub Account Settings, and looking under “managed by”

If the number is managed by LC Phone Please reply to this message with the account SID. To do this, please contact GHL support with the following: Hi, I would like to transfer an LC Phone number number to a new agency account. Can you please provide the account SID for [sub-account name]

If the number is managed by Twillio

Copy the account SID from Agency Settings.

Find the number that will be transferred

In your Twillio account go support and submit a ticket

Complete the ticket following the guide below.

Click Submit

Once you submit, you will see a pop up. Click “No” and then SUBMIT HELP REQUEST to ensure the ticket is submitted.
